Good morning, Wycombe!
Welcome back to the Wycombe Pulse. This week I’ve been giving serious thought to whether “a few hours at the pub, sans children” counts as a reasonable Mother’s Day wish. I’ve decided: absolutely yes. It’s going on the list.

The Big Bash ‘26 returns this September and tickets are on sale now.
Last year 2,000 of us packed in to the cricket club grounds for a summer to remember. 2026? Even better.

Dark matter makes up most of the universe — yet no one can see it, touch it, or detect it. Astrophysicist Cheyenne Polius is here to explain how scientists study the invisible, in a Tapped In Talk best enjoyed with a cold drink in hand.

The Shawshank Redemption Review 🎭
We were invited to opening night of The Shawshank Redemption at the Wycombe Swan this week — and honestly? One of the best things I’ve seen on that stage.
Big names, brilliant performances, and a story that’ll stay with you. A show of this calibre, right here in Wycombe — worth every penny.
