Fans of The O.C., crime thrillers, or anything with a deliciously twisty plot — this one's for you.
Wycombe Swan is hosting a stage adaptation of the iconic noir thriller Double Indemnity from 7–11 April, starring Hollywood favourite Mischa Barton.
Los Angeles. 1930s.
An insurance salesman who spots scams for a living.
A dangerously persuasive wife.
A life insurance policy that shouldn’t exist.
What follows is a web of lust, greed, betrayal… and the perfect murder plot.
And one lucky Wycombe Pulse reader is going to be there to see how it all unravels.

🥾 Farmer Sam’s Walk of Hope
Keep an eye out for Farmer Sam today as he passes through High Wycombe on his “Walk of Hope” — a 142-mile trek from Herefordshire to London to raise awareness and support for farmers’ mental health.
He's heading through Chinnor → Bledlow → West Wycombe → High Wycombe → Beaconsfield. Give him a cheer if you spot him.
