Good morning, Wycombe!
It’s the Wycombe Pulse, your local newsletter that’s still in disbelief that it’s April, the sun’s shining, and we’re getting light at 7pm.
Life is good 😎
Buckle up: this jam-packed edition is loaded with Easter adventures, live music, family fun, and much more. Let’s dive in!
Some titbits:
Easter adventure at the Hellfire Caves 🐣
Men’s photography & mental health workshop 📸
The amazing, artisan Cooper’s Market is back 🛍️
Sponsored by COCO Chocolatier
Looking for a luxury Easter treat?
COCO Chocolatier is not to be missed. I’ve tried their chocolate before and, let me tell you — it’s decadent. I’m still daydreaming about it, actually.
Crafted with the world’s finest Colombian cocoa and wrapped in stunning designs by independent artists, these aren’t just chocolate eggs — they’re edible works of art.

I’m not turning down those champagne truffles either…
Treat yourself… it’s what the Easter Bunny would want! 🐰
Thanks to COCO Chocolatier for partnering with Wycombe Pulse. ☺️

Where in Wycombe am I?

Last week’s answer: I was outside of Subway on Frogmoor — and if you look to the second storey, you’ll see the old ‘Popp’s’ signage. Back in the early 20th century, this spot was home to a newsagent and tobacconist owned by Jacob Popp, a bit of a local legend (or rascal) in Wycombe. Popp was notorious for defying the outdated Sunday Trading Laws — he was charged at least 325 times for opening his shop on Sundays for the locals. And he did it anyway, paying around 15 shillings a week in fines — a small price for the £20–£30 he’d earn every Sunday. Now that’s a bit of rebellious local charm!
