We visited Adventure Bounce at Wycombe Leisure Centre last Saturday — it was amazing!
An absolutely enormous inflatable that’s genuinely fun for the whole family. Think slides, wipeout balls, warped wall and a freefall. I took a quick video to show off the size of it.
There’s also a smaller (still pretty big!) bouncy castle for the little ones as well, although my 3 year old was very keen to stick with the ‘big girls’ on the bigger one.
The sessions last for an hour. Real talk, I was very sweaty about 20 minutes in. We paid £25 for a family of four so it’s a little steep but we had a great time and it was definitely a good way to channel that weekend energy of 2 young kids! Highly recommended.

Where in Wycombe am I?
Last week’s answer: I was overlooking the Back Stream at Kingsmead Recreation Ground — one of the River Wye’s trusty tributaries. It winds its way from Wycombe Abbey (via the Dyke), through the Wye Dene development and down Kingsmead, and finally reunites with the main river at Boundary Park in Loudwater. As chalk streams, the Wye and Back Stream are internationally very rare (fun fact: the Chilterns is home to 9 of the world’s 200 chalk rivers — pretty impressive, right?). The Chiltern Rangers work hard to keep these waterways looking and flowing their best, creating a haven for our local flora and fauna. They host volunteering events all year, many right here on the Wye and Back Stream, so if you fancy getting stuck in (and possibly muddy), it’s a brilliant way to help out and learn more about our unique environment.
