• Beer Fest — The Lion of Beaconsfield, Friday 22nd to Monday 25th August, 11am-9pm.

• Flower Festival — St Michael and All Angels Church, Saturday 23rd to Monday 25th August, 10am-4pm. Plus a U3A exhibition and tea, coffee and homemade cake. Monday is also the Bell Tower open day.

• Hazlemere Fete — Sir William Ramsay School Field, Monday 25th August, 12-5pm. Free admission and parking with a dog show, pony walks, birds of prey, live music, food trucks, inflatables, fair rides and more.

• Beaconsfield Country Fayre — Monday 25th August , 11am-4pm. Free admission with stalls, refreshments, dog show, classic cars, games, go-karts, music, BBQ and more.

• Little Marlow Village Fete — Little Marlow Cricket Club, Monday 25th August, 2-5pm. Plenty of family fun with traditional games, a dog show, classic car show, bouncy castles, and BBQ.

• Wild Tribe with Chiltern Rangers at Funges Meadow on Friday 22nd August from 11am-3pm — free event for teens aged 14-18 to meet and chat in an outdoor setting, getting involved with activities like campfires, bird box building, wildlife ID skills and more.

• Meet Miss Trunchball at The Roald Dahl Museum on Saturday 23rd August — Miss Trunchball will be roaming the halls of the museum at 10.30am and 1pm.

• Kids Summer Crafting Workshop at Widmer Farm Park on Tuesday 26th August at 10am — a Create Your Happy kids’ session making dreamcatchers and decoupaging a butterfly or rocket.

• Kids Day at the Bricklayers Arms on Saturday 23rd August from 1pm — a raffle and kids’ quiz.

• Hotel Chocolat is finally opening its doors in Eden on Monday 25th August, bringing with it a Velvetiser Café and ice cream offerings too 🍦

• The much-loved coffee shop Moc & More in Flackwell Heath is opening up a second branch in Hazlemere on Monday 25th August. You can find them at 15 Penn Road.

🤗 Community Notes

💙 Fundraiser for Kaiden at The Stag, Flackwell Heath, on Saturday 23rd August from 1pm onwards. Come and support this family funday for local boy Kaiden and his family, featuring John Johnny entertainment, live music, a raffle, stalls and much more. Kaiden is battling a brain tumour and the money raised will help his family to keep their heads above water and create some special memories together. If you can’t get to the fundraiser but would still like to contribute, you can donate to the GoFundMe appeal.

Wycombe Marsh Litter Pick on Tuesday 26th August from 10-11.30am — meet outside Wrights Meadow Centre.
