Pann Mill Open Day on Sunday 11th May from 11am-5pm — a great day out for the family, where you can meet the millers and watch the restored mill grinding local wheat. Plus stalls, home made cakes and flour for sale! 🌾
Menu Tasting Workshop at The Apple Orchard on Friday 9th May at 5.30pm — taste great food with perfect wine pairings 🍷
Wycombe Creatives Exhibition at The Wheatsheaf opening on Saturday 10th May from 10am-3pm — a FREE exhibition of art, costume, photography colour and design. Also open on Sunday and Tuesday 10am-3pm 🎨
Floating Sound Bath at Wycombe Rye Lido on Friday 9th May at 7.45pm — drift off to soothing sounds on air beds floating in the pool 🔔
High Wycombe Market on the High Street on Sunday 11th May from 10am-4pm — a new artisan Sunday market with makers, bakers, creators, and specialist food and drink producers 🛍️
🇬🇧 VE Day 80: Celebrate in Wycombe 🇬🇧
This Thursday marks 80 years since Victory in Europe Day, and Wycombe is honouring the occasion in true community style — with music, remembrance, dancing, and of course, tea and cake.
Whether you’re in the mood for a walking tour, a picnic, or a good old-fashioned 1940s knees-up, there’s plenty happening to mark the moment.
Here’s what’s on:
In Wycombe Town Centre — Thursday 8th May
🕘 10am – VE Day Walking Tour with Walking Wycombe with Willie. Meet at the council offices from 9.45am.
🎶 12pm – Piper performance at the Guildhall.
🔔 5.45pm – Service at All Saints Church, followed by bell ringing and refreshments.
Events Across Town
🎼 Air Raid Shelter Café & Tea Room – Live vintage entertainment and food at 12pm & 2.30pm.
🎥 Wrights Meadow Centre – Big screen viewing and picnic from 9am, BBQ from 4–7pm.
🍰 JB’s Bar & Café – Traditional buffet, cake and music from 10.30am–2pm.
☕️ High Wycombe Library – Commemorative coffee morning from 10.30am–12pm.
🧁 Wycombe Heights Golf Club — Homemade VE80 Afternoon Tea from Thursday 8th - Sunday 11th.
🇬🇧 Bucks New Uni — exhibition, bake sale, Lindy Hop performances and more from 11am-2pm.
On Saturday 10th May

🏛️ Walking Tour: History on Our High Street

Take a step back in time and explore the hidden history behind Wycombe’s streets, finishing up at Wycombe Museum around 11.30am. A stroll worth taking.
🎹 Piano Through the Ages | Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy & More
Tuesday 13th May, 6pm — St Michael & All Angel’s Church
From the harpsichord to the modern grand, this concert charts the rich history and sound of the piano, performed by the Purcell School’s talented young pianists.

Calling all crystal lovers, tarot dabblers, moon-gazers, and curious souls — the Spirit & Moon Fayre is returning to High Wycombe, and it’s bringing all the mystical magic you could wish for (and then some).
🌟 Start your day with an opening drumming ceremony just after 11am, then dive into a full schedule of FREE workshops and talks starting at 11.15:

12:15 – EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique): tap into your feelings

14:00 – Living in Tune with the Moon: lunar life hacks

PROSTATE CANCER SCREENING: Wycombe Heights Golf Centre is holding a PSA prostate cancer screening event for men over 40 on Saturday 10th May from 10am-4pm.
REPAIR CAFÉ: The Repair Café is back on Saturday 10th May from 10am-1pm in All Saints Church. Bring along your broken/damaged possessions for a fix!
WALKING GROUP: Kindness in Bucks run a weekly walking group every Wednesday evening from 6pm from outside the Community Centre on Rose Avenue. Everyone is welcome to join.
