📣 Calling all Talented Young Singers!

The Wooburn Singers are opening up their Choral Scholarship scheme again for young singers aged 16-30 in Buckinghamshire.

They’re offering:

• Professional vocal coaching

• Experience and community

• Financial assistance and perks

You’ll need to submit a 2-minute audio or video clip and a short letter of recommendation from a music teacher or similar to apply for either the September or January intake.

Not so much “news” but we’ve heard a rumour that Hotel Chocolat will be opening a standalone store in the Eden Centre soon… stay tuned!

Community Notes

OPPORTUNITEA CAFÉ: at Holmer Green Sport Association every Monday and Tuesday from 9am-3.30pm — a community café offering home-cooked food and a warm welcome to all. This is a new venture providing hands-on work experience and training for adults with learning disabilities.

BRING A POLLINATOR TO THE TRAIN STATION: join Refresh on Wednesday 2nd July from 1-3pm to help plant up the wooden planters at the train station, as well as mowing, weeding and cutting back excess vegetation. It would be great if you also want to bring a plant that is good for pollinators 🐝
