Every 25th January, Scots (and honorary Scots for the evening) raise a glass to poet Robert Burns with hearty food, lively company and a rousing address to the haggis. Expect steaming plates of neeps and tatties, a dram or two, and plenty of ceilidh spirit – even this far south of the border.

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with a beautiful Chinese Tea Experience on Sunday 25th January (12–2pm), featuring a guided tasting of four exquisitely curated teas – from aged pu-erh to vibrant green tea.

Hosted at 1 Lily’s Walk, this immersive session explores the culture, history and health benefits of Chinese tea, with children welcome when accompanied by an adult.

Panther Cubs Girls’ Rugby at Beaconsfield RFC
Beaconsfield Rugby Club has launched a brand-new Panther Cubs class for girls in Years 3–6, every Wednesday, 6–7pm. It’s a fun, welcoming introduction to rugby with coaching from England Red Roses stars Connie Powell and Poppy Cleall – plus a well-earned hot chocolate afterwards! The Runway Bistro Café at Wycombe Airpark has opened under new management. They are open to the public serving up British and Thai food.

Elané Asia Market is hosting their grand opening in their new space in Lily’s Walk on Sunday 25th January at 11am, with a lion dance at 12pm.

Berkeley Homes have released the latest tranche of new homes in the Abbey Barn Park development — it’s called Willow Rise and includes a number of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes, all with off-road parking.

Boots Hearingcare has opened a World of Hearing store in the Eden Centre this week, next to Rush hair salon.

Community News
