π Β£100 D'Luna Gift Card Giveaway!
Plus cheap comedy night tickets, Emergency Services Day, a new family festival and more.
Good morning, Wycombe!
This is issue 100. One h u n d r e d. When I started the Pulse a couple of years ago, I hadnβt planned much past issue two, so this feels like a real milestone β and itβs entirely down to you. Thanks for opening these emails, replying, sharing, and putting up with the bad jokes and random rants along the way.
To say thanks, thereβs a giveaway competition below for a voucher to my favourite Wycombe restaurant. Consider it a small bribe to keep you around for issue 200 π
Enough about that β on to the week ahead, and itβs a busy one:
π¨Emergency Services Day on the High St
πͺ Go behind the scenes of Bucksβ biggest archaeological dig
π§π»ββοΈ Wildflower & witchcraft walk
Plus weβve got loads of events for Dads, an Ibiza night at the Airpark, news of a brand new festival, and much more.
Wycombe's got its own proper comedy club now β and the line-up for this one is no joke.

Select Comedy Club's final show before the summer break has pulled together a genuinely brilliant bill, headed up by a man who's sold out arenas with a live-action video game (yes, really).
π Headliner: John Robertson β the human hurricane behind cult hit The Dark Room, with 12 SOLD OUT Edinburgh Fringes, last yearβs best-reviewed UK comic, and a "not to be missed" from The Guardian
ποΈ Matt Rouse: BBC New Comedy Award nominee, as seen on Channel 4's The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan
π€ Hosted by: your lovable local, award-nominated Elliot Wengler β plus more acts to be announced
